Hah......this was an unusual day.....surprisingly my clientile had their limited calls.......no site visits.......no material selection......no meetings......wow.............this is the time...My time...to observe analyze and critize..
There are so many areas in the aspect of designing and executing. and being a designer, i was wondering whether critizing on the genaral aspects would be that apt.....
The list of things that need our attention in the society may be exhaustive but with the right set of ideas and goals that can be acheived.
A lot of infrasructure development has been happening in the recent past. Welcome to the Globalisation and the cash flow in the market, which had made the people to rethink on the comfortablity or the basic standards of living for one set of people ,and the other segment opts for the aesthetic value.
The realty market is no more conservative.A buoyant economy and improved lifestyle are instrumental in driving the demand for new development. Land prices are soaring up in city and suburban areas. So there is a high chance of conversion of agricultural lands into commercial and Residential area, where in case its a high threat in the near future.
The demand and absorption for residential and commercial is on high end level,unlike the present systemn doesnt seem to support it.Growth of cities has been very rapid and decentralisation or demarcation of spaces would be highly benefitable.Demarcation of SEZ-Special Economic zones has created waves. But there is a major lack of services.
Proper Planning and Execution with a futuristic thinking would definetely clear all these issues.There is no dearth of challenging situation on a small or large scales. we have to seriously delibrate on still what we need for the present and the future.
